Bogus Emails - Phishing
This Credit Union will never ask Members to confirm payment details by email.
It has been brought to our attention that some Credit Union Members in this country are being targeted with an email from the email address creditunion@online.ie or one similar to this.
The email will inform you of a file named Payment Confirmation that's been transferred to you through a site called WeTransfer, by what appears to be your Credit Union, and you will be encouraged to click to download the files.
This scam is designed to collect your personal details with a view to gaining access to your personal financial accounts.
Do not open the file and delete the email immediately
